We are trying to make sure people turn off the taps. This will help reduce the amount of 💧💦 wasted in our school. Also we are trying to make sure the 💡are turned off to save energy. To add to that, the school is trying to win a green eco award 🥇.
We are using scrap paper 📝 more to reuse paper. We are trying to make sure we put the right things in the right bins or for paper, sometimes in the scrap paper draw.

BIG GARDEN BIRDWATCH
On the week of the Big Garden Birdwatch everyone in eco club went outside and went to look for different birds.
Some of the children said:
“There’s a sparrow over there!”
“Look, a long tailed tit.”
“Blackbird over there.”
There were loads of wood pidgens, some tits and a couple of blackbirds. There were one or two sparrows. Also, there were about five robins. Everyone searched in the paddock(a junior school playground) and then later, everyone looked in the infant playground.
At the end it was interesting how the results varied but overall the search was fun.
